We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Sous Chef to join our talented kitchen team in our fine dining 2 AA Rosette Wernher Restaurant.
Our aim is to create distinctly memorable experiences and so we strive to make every meal an occasion for our guests. As a Sous Chef you will work as part of the kitchen team and will assist the Head Chef in preparing and producing fresh quality dishes to the highest standard. You will also have a key role in leading, training and motivating the kitchen team while contributing with your passion and creativity to the development of unique dishes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to grow and develop as a chef and to improve your skills in a busy and varied five star environment.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including early and late shifts.
Weekend and bank holiday working is required - 40 hours per week 5 days out of 7.

What we are looking for:

• Enthusiasm, dedication and a genuine passion for food

• A desire to develop, show attention to detail and a positive 'can do' attitude

• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team

• Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and the ability to remain calm under pressure

• Previous experience in a similar role

• NVQ level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent is desirable
