We are recruiting for a Storesperson with Reach and Counterbalance FLT licenses to join a timber manufacturer based in Stoke on Trent.

This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday 8am-4.45pm offering a salary of approx. £24k per annum (£11.50 per hour).

As Storesperson you will be working alone mainly in this hands on role in the finished goods warehouse with the following responsibilities:
Organise Picking ListsPick Orders from within the warehousePack Orders to appropriate standardsWork safely within Health and Safety guidelines and trainingOrganize stores to a high standard to assist in the storage and location of products taking every step to preserve product quality and avoid damage/wastageSet and implement exceptionally standards of tidiness and safety throughoutDaily stock counts and oversee periodic full stock takesCommunication with Production Planner/Manager and Sales TeamWe are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:Previous experience in a Warehouse Operative, Storesperson, Order Picker, Goods In role or similarReach and Counterbalance FLT License ideallyGood knowledge using Excel/ in-house systems for booking goods in, pulling off dispatch lists etcSome heavy lifting will be required so you should be physically fitAs Storesperson you will have the ability to cope under pressure during busy periods within the warehousePlease apply today or call us to discuss this Storesperson role in more detail
