Huntsmill Farm is a family owned wedding venue based near Buckingham offering a
converted barn, picturesque grounds and intimate courtyard settings for the perfect country wedding.
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated part-time wedding coordinator to join our growing operational team.

Reporting to the Wedding & Events Manager and as a key member of the wedding team, you will be responsible for the smooth coordination and running of 1- 2 weddings per week, managing the entire day for our couples from inception to completion.


This role is an important one, as you will be supporting the Wedding and Event Manager to manage and coordinate our wedding bookings, ensuring consistency of service, quality and execution.

For the weddings you are allocated, you will be the first port of call for all enquires and support in the lead up to and on the day so you must be empathetic, charismatic and someone who really knows their stuff and is willing to get stuck in


Building good client and supplier relationships will come as second nature to you as will your desire to put our couples needs first at all times.


It is essential that you are happy to work at least one day on the weekend and that you have flexible attitude towards the rota and hours of work.

Particularly during our peak season between April - October.

This is a hands on role so you will be able to hit the ground running and be willing do whatever is required to make our couple's day a success.

Whether that is jumping on the bar to help the team or helping to clean and set up. No job is too small for you

Your duties will also include:

  • Managing and coordinating weddings and events from inception to completion
  • Managing enquires, bookings and show rounds providing information and follow up communications where required
  • Overseeing and assisting with wedding and event set up on the day
  • Providing coordination support on open days, wedding fayres and styled shoots
  • Building and maintaining working relationships with 3rd party wedding suppliers
  • Conducting show rounds for perspective and existing couples
  • Be an ambassador for the venue and maximising opportunities for sales and marketing
  • Overseeing health and safety during events and ensuring a safe environment for staff, couples, guests and suppliers
  • Maintaining accurate an up to date records of all bookings, key information and enquires via our CRM system
  • Assisting with marketing activities

To succeed in this role you will:

  • Have solid and proven experience working within the wedding industry in similar role with mínimal supervision
  • Be a selfstarter and highly motivated
  • Have bags of enthusiasm, energy and personality
  • Be a great team player and willing to support the team as necessary
  • Be extremely organised and methodical in you approach to work, with the ability to manage varying working loads and tasks simultaneously
  • Have great timekeeping, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work well under pressure and thrive in a fastchanging environment; able to navigate through occasional ambiguity will remaining calm
