We are looking for a skilled Director to cover a maternity leave in our Residential Property Research team for a fixed term of one year.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading and managing research projects related to residential property trends and market analysis, particularly in prime markets.

This position is part of the B2C section of the Residential Research department, where the main focus is on the Residential Sales & Lettings agency business.

The ideal candidate should be a confident presenter, have a background in producing research publications, and feel at ease providing analysis for the media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise residential property research projects ensuring high-quality deliverables and actionable insights.
  • Analyze published data and internal market intelligence utilizing statistical techniques to extract valuable insights.
  • Offer responsive commentary and conduct tailored press analysis to explore current property trends promptly.
  • Present analysis and insights to the Research team, Agency colleagues, and clients at external events.
  • Collaborate with various teams to report on market trends and maintain relationships with senior management.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to senior management effectively.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in residential property research or market analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and proficiency in statistical analysis using advanced excel skills.
  • Proven track record of managing research projects and delivering high-quality outputs on time.
  • Dedication to excellence, integrity, and continuous learning in residential property research.

The Residential Research team comprises 31 members from Analyst to Director level, focusing on providing research and consultancy on residential property to internal and external clients.

The B2B team serves national government, house builders, developers, housing associations, charities, and investors. The Director role will be within the B2C team, known for its market-leading research publications featured in national newspapers.
