About the position
DFDS Killingholme is in need of a skilled driver to transport ferry trailers from Immingham Docks to various destinations.
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Traveling Monday - Friday, totaling 47 hours per week
- Delivering imported goods to different locations
- Following all traffic laws and regulations to ensure your safety and that of others on the road
- Performing pre-journey and post-journey inspections of the vehicle
- Securing the loading and unloading of cargo with proper weight distribution and compliance with transportation guidelines.
About you
You must hold a Class 1 Licence, CPC, DIGI card, and have at least 2 years of experience in transporting ferry trailers. Additionally, good customer service skills are essential for this customer-facing role. Our ideal candidate should be able to integrate well into a growing and dynamic team.
