Temporary Warehouse Operative

Summary of Role:
To assist the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day operations within with Warehouse

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Work with the company stock management system and ERP system to ensure that orders are picked, packed and despatched on time and in line with business standards
  • Offloading deliveries and loading collections
  • Putting stock away into the correct locations
  • Booking in stock and transferring stock where required by the Warehouse Manager
  • Maintaining communication with the rest of the business
  • Responsible for safe manual handling of boxes up to 25kg
  • Ensuring the workspaces are tidy and free from hazards
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process to ensure systems and processes within the warehouse are robust
  • Any other task as reasonably required by the business

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay:
From £11.73 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
