Join Our Team as a Payroll Manager
**Ideal Candidate Background: 4 or 5 Luxury Experience | Start Date: May**
We are seeking a dedicated and organised individual with a background in 4 or 5 luxury to join our Human Resources team as a Payroll Manager. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you'll play a vital role in managing our payroll and pension functions, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with all regulations.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Stay up-to-date on all payroll legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing expert advice to the business.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, Finance, and Administration to streamline processes and resolve any payroll-related issues.
- Oversee payroll calculations, including bonuses, incentives, and deductions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and review payroll reports for management, providing insights and analysis as needed.
- Act as a liaison with external parties such as banks and auditors, maintaining strong relationships and facilitating audits when required.
- Serve as deputy to the Group Payroll Financial Controller, stepping in to make decisions and lead the department in their absence.
- Support special projects and initiatives to enhance payroll processes and support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in payroll management or a related field, ideally within 4 or 5 luxury hospitality
- Minimum of 5 years experience using payroll systems, with proficiency in Opera, Fourth, Pension, and Tronc; experience with Oracle preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and advanced reporting skills, including running reports and analysis
- Financial or payroll qualification preferred
- Ability to translate complex information into simple language for others to understand
