Responsibilities as HCA/Support Worker:
- To promote independence, encourage participation of activities and or social events, enhance wellbeing
- To have a flexible approach to working hours
- To be respectful of resident's choices
- To have a basic understanding of recording and updating using an electronic patient record system
- To be committed to expanding your knowledge and personal development
- To be able to communicate at all levels with residents, team staff members, relatives, and external professionals.
- Ensuring and developing good relationships to deliver a highquality experience for all residents
- To update and record all wellbeing and appropriate resident documentation
Requirements as HCA/Support Worker:
- A positive caring professional with experience in caring for residents with dementia.
- A keen eye and exceptional attention to detail.
- Good time management skills and able to meet deadlines calmly in the time assigned.
- Ability to develop relationships with residents and carers, and where appropriate, friends and family.
- Someone who is motivated and takes pride in their work
