As part of the team, you'll be pivotal in creating a cohesive and collaborative service to our users. Guide Communicator Support Worker - Dartford


Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) is a charity that provides a comprehensive rehabilitation service to sight and hearing impaired people of all ages and abilities across Kent.

We are seeking a compassionate and flexible individual to join our Guide Communicator team.

The main purpose of the role is to provide an effective enabling support service to a young service user in the Dartford area.

The role includes supporting users to physically travel to and access:
services, shops, facilities, resources, hobbies, study, sport, leisure, meetings, appointments, etc. in their local and occasionally wider environment.

Hours -

Term time: 6 hours per week (to be worked between Friday Evening and Sunday evening).

**Non

  • Term time**:30 hours per week.

Contract -
This role is funded initially for a 6 month period, at which point the role requirements will be reviewed.
