Office & HR Manager

I am working exclusively with family-owned leading independent business established over 40 who due to significant growth are now expanding their Head Office team in Stockport, Cheshire.
My client is looking for an Office & HR Manager to ensure that all HRmatters are effectively managed including helping operations with new contract mobilisation (TUPE transfers), on boarding, implementation of policies and best practice to aid staff retention, recruitment, and training and ensure that all processes are fitfor purpose, robust, compliant and create a great place to work.
Additionally, there are other responsibilities i.e., fleet, procurement, maintaining company accreditation's and office management.I am looking for someone who loves variety and personal growthand will also take on any additional duties or projects, as necessary.
This is very rare and exciting opportunity in a busy and varied role where you can learn new things, make it your own and make a difference every day.
Experience & Qualifications Required- Experience in implementation of the above in a multisite environment in a service sector preferably cleaning or Soft FM Services.
- Experience in managing TUPE transfers in and out
- Experience of managing recruitment & onboarding of staff
- Excellent knowledge and demonstrable success of managing an ER caseload
- HR degree/ CIPD level 5 as a minimum qualification is preferable or working towards it.
- Excellent ability to influence and support management and the senior leadership team.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced SME and dynamic environment.
- Excellent ability to make decisions quickly based on conflicting priorities
- Diligent, tenacious, and resilient in approach and achieves tight deadlines.
- Out of the box thinking, dynamic and eager to learn, grow and take things on
- Effective interpersonal skills within a team environment.
- Organised, methodical with a Can do approach.
- Selfmanaging by continually assessing changing priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Define and help the operational team deliver slick and compliant TUPE transfers (in or out).
- Review and own the induction and on boarding process to give the best new starter journey.
- Develop Training Matrix and PDPs to enhance employee engagement, ensure compliance to statutory requirements and improve skill levels.
- Develop, own, and manage the recruitment process for all roles from vacancy to fulfilment.
- Ensure all HR policies and processes are up to date, compliant and work well in the business.
- Develop new innovative processes to drive efficiency's within recruitment, training, and HR.
- Develop new staff engagement techniques to improve staff retention and reduce absenteeism.
- Management of a small fleet of vehicles and the tracker system.
- Represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times.
