We are looking for a friendly Kitchen Porter Full Time to join our team at Canary Wharf branch.

This is an entry-level job but if you're good at it, you'll be invaluable in making sure our kitchen is always sanitized and tidy.

Who We Are?

Buns From Home is a lockdown success story, making homemade cinnamon buns first from home and now from our stores across London.


Your Main Duties:


As a Kitchen Porter, some of your duties will include washing pots and pans, keeping floors clean, sanitizing food preparation areas and keeping the food and supply storage areas organized.


Shift Patterns:

Our Bakeries and Kitchen are open Early so typically all the Kitchen Porters will start early too - It Will vary between bakeries but typically around: 6:00 am. During the training period will be asked to do early shifts at various locations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate with the Service Chefs and team
  • Thorough attention to detail, excellent time management and critical thinking skills
  • Indepth knowledge of kitchen safety and health regulations
  • Excellent stamina to work long hours
  • Excellent stress management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues
  • Ability to follow all instructions given
