Senior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Organise and lead mechanical engineers to fulfil numerous orders and projects.
  • Creating CAD models and fully detailed engineering drawings using GD&T.
o Enclosures for power electronics
o Testing hardware, prototypes, jigs & fixtures

  • Liaising with members of the wider engineering team, as well as external suppliers.
  • Work with Mechanical Team Leader to continue to build and develop mechanical engineering team to fulfil company strategic road map.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to other mechanical engineers.
  • Ensure products are developed to achieve compliance with automotive requirements.
  • Senior Mechanical Engineer experience and skills required:
  • Proven experience of developing electromechanical components within the automotive sector or similar.
  • 3D CAD modelling (Solidworks desirable) and GD&T as per BS 8888.
  • Motorsport, Automotive, Rotating machinery/equipment.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours - flexible with start and finish time.
