Position Overview:
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Key Stage One Teaching Assistant.

In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging and effective lessons, providing essential assistance to young students as they learn and grow.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons across the Key Stage One curriculum
  • Provide oneonone or small group support to students who require additional help with their learning
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported
  • Support students with their social and emotional development, promoting positive behavior and interactions
  • Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as needed to support the smooth running of the classroom

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage One curriculum and early childhood development principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to working with children
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
