Job Summary

The main purpose of the Storekeeper is to assist the Engineers by transferring parts, products, tools and equipment, making sure that everything is logged correctly and easy to find in the warehouse.
The Storekeeper reports hierarchically to the Part-145 Maintenance Lead and functionally to the Store Coordinator & Store Manager.

Respons. & areas

TECHNICAL

• Assist the Engineers with their requirement of parts/products/tools using the software system to locate the items and collect them / arrange transport where necessary.

• Ensure parts are stored in their correct location and relocate if required.

• Attend to the delivery of parcels and parts (internal/external) and register those deliveries by performing a quality and quantity check by following the internal processes and procedures correctly.

• Do inventory 'spot' checks on a regular basis and remove expired items.

• Be responsible for the cleanliness in the Store area.

• Register, evaluate (unserviceable/defective) and process returned items for repair, waste or re-use, return to supplier or repair when necessary.

• Those employed on an equal time roster, primarily within the Line operation, you are responsible for handling the AOG requests after office hours for the UK .

LOGGING

• Log out the delivered items accordingly and correctly, by following the MOE procedures and internal rules (also in the software system).

• Credit back unused items.

• Register the use and the return of tools.

• Organize transport, prioritizing by urgency, using our preferred transport suppliers.

Experience


• Preferably relevant experience.

• Experience in warehousing or logistics through internships.

• Experience in aviation environment is an asset.

• In the possession of a driver's license.

Skills


• Excellent knowledge of the English language is mandatory.

• ICT literate with knowledge of excel is mandatory.

• A team player who helps their colleagues where needed.

• Showing interest in technical matters.

• Logical thinking.
