MAIN DUTIES:

TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PRODUCTION AND SERVICE OF BEVERAGES WITHIN THE VENUE.

  • Note: This is not an all inclusive list. Additional duties may be assigned._
  • Ensures the highest beverage quality and service.
  • Adheres to company standards of service quality, preparation, and presentation.
  • Ensures guests are served in a timely matter.
  • To memorize all beverage recipes and notes, ensuring the ability to advise and recommend to guests.
  • Ensures readiness and makes priorities in case of last minute changes to reservations.
  • Adheres to all health, sanitation and food safety rules and regulations.
  • Ensures that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately.
  • Ensures that employees work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others.
  • Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions and either corrects them or takes action to prevent them from happening.
  • Keeps the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, appropriate uniform, appearance, and conduct.
  • Sets up for service by ensuring everything is set up for forecasted covers, special functions and all reservations.
  • To carry out any other duties as directed by Management, Director and Head Chef.
  • To study and memorize Old Essex Barn guidelines, Employee handbook and Food guides.
  • To ensure that your service in the restaurant is the standard that the Old Essex Barn has set.
  • To comply with the alcohol licensing laws.
  • To work collectively within a team, supporting other members and assisting management.

From £11.44 per hour
