Job Description

The Product Strategy EMEA group sits within the Global Product Strategy and Development team, which is responsible for shaping and positioning the suite of products at JPMAM. The team provides comprehensive research, thought leadership and competitive differentiation of JPMAM's investment capabilities to expand distribution and the quality of product coverage representative of our global franchise.

Job summary:

As our Product Strategy Vice President, you will report directly into the Head of Product Strategy EMEA and will provide leadership in the team across a number of key deliverables and strategic initiatives. Key initiatives include Sustainable Investing, ETFs and Alternatives. Another focus of the role will be to help grow our Portfolio Insights Analytics program, which will entail analyzing client portfolios and presenting insights to a range of clients. A third focus will be covering a particular asset class and/or sales team, partnering with the teams internally and understanding the competitive landscape to provide insights. Additionally, this role requires strong leadership attributes as it will involve engaging and presenting to senior leaders globally.

Job responsibilities:
  • Interfacing with investment teams and Product Development to drive product innovation
  • Interfacing with the Funds and Institutional businesses on a number of sales initiatives and requests, presenting at team meetings and to their clients
  • Presenting to clients across strategic partnerships and portfolio insights analytics to position our broad JPMAM fund range
  • Collaborating with marketing and training to drive clear messaging, develop value propositions and communications of our product range
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations for senior management in EMEA and globally
  • Mentoring junior members of the Product Strategy EMEA team
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • 7+ years of experience in asset management
  • Strong analytical, communication, project management and cross-organization collaboration skills required
  • Influencing and interpersonal skills and comfort in working with people at all levels across all functions
  • Demonstrate ability to influence and gain senior management buy-in on key initiatives
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • CFA or MBA a plus
