Health Care Assistant

Full Time Days/Nights with salary £10.50/hr + benefits


We are looking for a
Health Care Assistantto join our team and help our patients with daily activities such as eating, dressing and bathing as needed.

Responsibilities of a Health Care Assistant?

  • Help patients use the bathroom
  • Clean and bathe patients or residents
  • Maintain patients' hygiene and change bedding
  • Turn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds
  • Serve meals and help patients eat their food
  • Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature

Requirements and skills of A Health Care Assistant:

  • To be committed in delivering physical and emotional needs to all residents in a dignified and respectful manor
  • To promote independence, encouraging participation of activities and or social events, enhancing wellbeing
  • To have a flexible approach to working hours
  • To be respectful of resident's choices
  • To have the basic understanding of recording and updating using electronic patient record system
  • To be committed in expanding your knowledge and personal development
  • To be able to communicate at all levels with residents, team staff members, relatives, external professionals.
  • Ensuring and developing good relationships to deliver a highquality experience for all residents
  • To update and record all wellbeing and appropriate resident documentation
