Our client is a UK leading Charity provider who are looking to grow their existing team.

As a Fundraising Officer you will work closely with the Marketing and Fundraising Manager to develop and deliver their fundraising strategy as well as help to buildtheir foundations for fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Being an ambassador by externally managing stakeholder and funder relationships
  • Contributing to the implementation of the fundraising plan and organisational strategy.
  • Identifying and establishing sources of income for the charity supporting us to build a sustainable income model for the future.
  • Maintaining a database of established funders and prospects.
  • Developing and delivering activity to grow individual giving income.
  • Developing compelling fundraising propositions that drive income and engagement from potential funders.
  • Working with the Marketing and Fundraising team to create fundraising content across their platforms and on social media.
  • Proactively manage and grow current industry stakeholder's relationships.
  • Ensuring fundraising activity is compliant and within all guidelines.
  • Other reasonable duties as required.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience of working in a fundraising environment with proven success of meeting targets across a number of income streams
  • Experience of using digital channels to acquire, retrain and develop new and existing supporters.
  • Agile approach to delivery
  • Works well collaboratively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan. prioritise, use own initiative and meet multiple deadlines/targets.
  • Sound IT skills in MS Office and experience of using databases.
  • DBS check required

Desirable

  • Passion for the mission and cause of the charity
  • Experience of coordinating challenges and events
  • Experience in using a CRM system.
