Role Responsibilities

The incoming Financial Planning Administrator will have previous experience in a Financial Planning Administration role. Responsibilities within this Financial Planning Administrator job include:

  • Ensuring a high-quality client experience at all times
  • Preparing client meeting documents.
  • Supporting and completing LOA processes
  • New Business submission/loading/chasing to completion
  • Processing Fund Switching/Bed & ISAs
  • General Administrative work.
  • Data input accuracy for all internal systems
  • Call handling - Incoming and outgoing calls to clients, providers and contractors.
  • Letters - production & sending
  • Fact Find Preparation
  • Monitoring and completing workflow Info Inbox tasks.
  • Premises support - Professional standards maintained and support for any ad-hoc premises requests
  • Liaising with product providers and other relevant third parties
  • Ensuring that all client requirements are followed through to the appropriate
  • conclusion
  • Identify improvements to systems and work processes in the business
  • Working with both the adviser and client in implementing and maintaining the Personal Finance Portal (PFP) via Intelliflo
  • Providing support to Directors, Management, Client Manager Support, Client Manager, AR's and Employed Advisers.
  • Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FCA's Conduct rules / FCA Statements of Principle & Code of Practice and the relevant rules from the FCA at all times

Person Specification

The successful Financial Planning Administrator will have a proven record in a previous financial services administration role. You should be happy working full time from an office and have excellent written English skills. Also, you will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent all round IT and systems skills
  • Very good attention to detail
  • Excellent team player
  • Proven client relationship and customer service skills
  • Professional telephone Answering/dealing with clients/providers.
  • Self-motivation/time management
  • Flexibility & adaptability
  • Willing to carry out projects outside the usual daily work routine
  • Using initiative and taking a proactive approach to your work
