What does this role involve?nAs the Group Workplace Manager your remit will cover hard and soft facilities maintenance across the UK, building and facilities compliance, concierge, post room, and an onsite canteen.

Day to day, you will;


a high degree of independent judgment and discretion to identify, diagnose, and solve problems while taking a team approach to daily office operations.ndevelop, recommend, and implement cost saving opportunities and seek approval for recommendations.

Strive for cost effective solutions and ROIs for future planning.nstrategies to ensure that the organization's culture, systems, and processes support an environment that is inclusive for all and where employees feel able to contribute their fullest.

Leverage diversity and inclusion as a tool to design and implement employee programs and motivate the team to achieve high standards.nenvironments effectively optimised and represent a welcoming space for employees and implement the Workplace Strategy including full budgetary occupied premises are maintained in accordance with current legislation and best practice.noverall responsibility of the Security Management System and personnel.nManagement of Catering, Cleaning and ancillary functions including waste disposal.ncurrent lease obligations and negotiating new terms.ninsurances are in place for Group activities.npositive relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and align facilities services accordingly.nrelationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts for facility-related goods and services.

Ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.


Who are we looking for?nAs a Workplace subject matter expert, you will have experience working with a diverse portfolio, including retail, office, and warehouse, creating great environments where staff can thrive innIdeal candidates will also;nrelevant professional, technical or management qualification and experience in facilities.nplanning and project management management and programming experience.nawareness in dealing with suppliers and contractual terms.nstrong knowledge in project management of office moves and dilapidation works.npeople management skills, leadership qualities and good networking abilities.nanalytical approach to problems and a passion for solving , proactive, and forward thinking, with a strong ability to work working with stakeholders up to a senior level, both to take on tasks and present have the ability to think laterally and help find the best solutionna full driver's licence and ability to travel is essential.
