The Role

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing costs and providing expert quantity surveying services on a range of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies during the pre-construction phaseConducting value engineering and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycleReviewing and analyzing contract documents, drawings, and specificationsPreparing interim valuations, variation orders, and final accountsLiaising with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholdersMentoring and developing junior members of the quantity surveying team
Qualifications and ExperienceDegree in Quantity Surveying or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with proven senior-level expertiseStrong background in delivery hospitality projectsStrong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principlesProficient in the use of quantity surveying softwareExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines
