About the Position:


GSL Education is currently looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a client school in Hull.

A Learning Support Assistant (LSA) plays a vital role in educational settings, especially in assisting students with additional learning requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group support to students with diverse needs.
- Assist in the execution of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support classroom activities and cultivate a positive learning atmosphere.
- Promote students' personal, social, and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to oversee and report student advancements.

Prerequisites:
- Previous experience with children or young individuals, preferably in an academic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Display patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for aiding students.
- Capability to work effectively within a team.
- A relevant educational or special educational needs qualification or training is advantageous though not obligatory.
