This could be the role for you, providing high quality administrative support to our busy Patient Safety Team.

This role can be office based at Littlemore. When fully trained some hybrid working may be possible.

Main duties of the job

As Patient Safety Administrator you will carry out a range of administrative duties. You will be the first point of contact for Patient Safety Team enquiries and the key point of contact for the generic email inbox requiring clear communication and liaison skills. You will be responsible for managing and prioritising your own workload and will be required to use their own initiative.

The nature of the role and information regarding Patient Safety Incidents that you have access to can be very sensitive and distressing but you will be fully supported by our close-knit team. We are proud that the work our team carries out supports teams to make changes and improve practices. You will need to be resilient and compassionate in your approach.

Qualifications

Essential

GCSE English and Maths or equivalent

Desirable

Business Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent

Experience

Essential

Significant experience of working in a busy and dynamic administrative role including using initiative and developing/maintaining office systems Arranging meetings and booking rooms, and using Microsoft Teams for meetings Extensive experience of minute taking

Desirable

Previous experience in a Governance / Patient Safety role NHS administration experience

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Publisher, Access) and Microsoft Teams Ability to deal with patients, families and staff in a polite and effective manner, via email and on the telephone Excellent organisational skills/managing diary systems and tracking information. Showing good time management skills with the ability to re-prioritise.
