Successful Project Management requires a combination of leadership, motivation, and rigorous administration to ensure that our client's intended outcome is achieved, despite the complexity and extent of works.

We offer experienced and professional project delivery teams, led by directors with specific Life Science sector expertise, and local knowledge.

Each team is equipped to provide order and leadership in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and is trained to manage and control the changes that are inherent in any capital project environment.

Our Project and Development Services (PDS) team comprises of project delivery experts who can assess and report on the anticipated risks, actual time and cost required to successfully deliver a project, select the right service providers to execute a construction project and provide the right solution to ensure successful delivery and inspiration for our clients.

Our PDS teams consist of over 1,300 technical project delivery staff, successfully operating in over 20 countries across EMEA.

Life Sciences is a key growth area for JLL and particularly the EMEA and UK PDS team(s).

There is currently significant new business and/or cross selling opportunity for the UK and EMEA PDS business through our existing JLL Capital Markets (Investor and Developer) and Work Dynamics (Corporate Occupier) Life Science client accounts including 'Big' Pharma and other global Life Science companies.

This growth has created a need to recruit additional Project Management resources at various levels from Senior Project Managers through to Director level resources into the UK PDS Life Sciences team.

Successful candidates will work as experienced project delivery professionals at Senior Project Manager level, and as an integral part of the leadership team at Director level.

The team structure will develop as the team grows, but you will initially report into the UK Head of Project Management, life Sciences and EMEA Life Sciences subject matter expert (SME) providing leadership and project management service delivery to pharmaceutical and life science clients and the wider UK PDS team(s).

You will have extensive experience of providing project management services to pharmaceutical and life science clients successfully managing projects in secure and controlled environments including high containment laboratories, clean rooms, GMP and research and development.

You will have project experience up to ACDP4, SAPO4 and GMO4 level (or similar) as well as other local country and federal standards.

Additional experience with various NHS Trusts and healthcare providers and familiarity with NHS health technical memoranda (HTMs) and health building notes (HBNs) is desirable, but not essential to be a success in this role.

Successful candidates will provide project management service delivery and/or act as the service delivery lead for project management services within the PDS Life Sciences team.

You will provide project management consultancy advice using various project management software tools and possess the necessary entrepreneurial and business development skills to work with the UK Head of Project Management, Life Sciences and EMEA Life Sciences SME to help develop and build our project management service offering to our client base.

As the team grows you will be required to provide leadership and line management to your direct reports against agreed business aims and objectives.

The UK PDS Life Sciences team has an aspiration, and a business plan to build our project management market share in the Life Sciences industry sector.

This role requires regular travel throughout the UK and in particular London, Cambridge and Oxford.

There may also be a requirement to travel to EMEA locations to provide services to our JLL science and technology clients.
