Are you looking for a new opportunity in the care sector? We are currently recruiting for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a fantastic team in a residential setting, providing care and support to vulnerable young people.

On offer is a fully funded, accredited training programme which offers you an excellent career progression into management. This is a role where you will be working with a new reputable care provider in the area and will benefit from ongoing training and support to ensure you have everything you need to become successful in the role.


Responsibilities of the Senior Support Worker

  • Supervising and supporting a team of support workers, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure that high standards of care are maintained.
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children in your care, working to safeguard them from harm and providing emotional and practical support.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of care plans for the children in your care, working collaboratively with other professionals.
  • Managing challenging behavior and deescalating potentially harmful situations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of the children's care and progress, including incident reports, care plans, and other relevant documentation.
  • Promoting the social, emotional, and physical development of the children in your care, planning and implementing activities and programs that support their growth and development.
  • Developing positive relationships with the children in your care, providing a positive role model and mentor.
