Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding area of Allica Bank. We are seeking a motivated Fraud Strategy Analyst with a genuine interest in nurturing colleagues and delivering optimal outcomes for customers. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of regulatory requirements for Fraud and Transaction Monitoring.

Key responsibilities of the Fraud Strategy Analyst role:

  • Assist in designing and implementing counter fraud and financial crime rules
  • Proactively develop counter fraud strategies focusing on emerging trends
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement fraud prevention strategies
  • Maintain alert rates for fraud prevention systems according to KPIs
  • Work with various teams to raise awareness of evolving fraud trends
  • Create and manage performance reports related to Fraud and Financial Crime
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage workload to ensure rule performance aligns with set KPIs
  • Utilize multiple fraud prevention systems simultaneously
  • Oversee thresholds for false positive rates and guide alert treatment
  • Swiftly respond to emerging fraud trends with effective strategies
  • Cultivate positive relationships within the business for smooth communication
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records for each case and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Uphold the bank's policies and compliance requirements
  • Adhere to the bank's brand values and culture
  • Communicate relevant information to team members and management
  • Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers for necessary documentation
  • Assist other departments as needed
