An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NA/HCA to join our innovative, forward thinking practice and become an integral part of a diverse clinical team delivering care to our 5100 registered patients.
Kingsfold Medical Centre is based in Penwortham, Preston.
We have a new exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant/Nurse Associate to join our friendly and welcoming team at Kingsfold Medical Centre.
Carry out health assessments on newly registered patients e.g. taking bloods, testing urine, blood pressure checks, heights, and weights and taking a simple written medical history.
Ensure that the clinical rooms are at all times kept in a clean and orderly manner and that relevant equipment is ready for use by nursing and medical staff during clinic sessions.
Provide phlebotomy services as requested by nursing and medical staff.
Carry out blood pressure checks and report promptly abnormal findings to the nurse/ doctor as per protocol.
Carry out lifestyle advice to patients as requested, follow up as appropriate.
Carry out partial chronic disease management reviews.
Administer Immunisations according to PGDs.
Carry out ECGs.
Carry out NHS Health checks & Carer Health checks.
24 hour BP ON/OFF.
INR Testing.
Pill Checks.
Foot Checks.
Attend MDT Meetings
Achieve QOF and IIF Targets.
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Pay:
£12.50-£12.70 per hour
Expected hours: 14.5 per week
