Duties:

• To assist in the ordering and stock control of consumable items and equipment including receiving orders and maintaining the rotation of stock
• To carry out instructions and demonstrations on the proper use of equipment, ensuring that safe working practices are adhered to at all times
• To prepare materials and set up equipment for use in practical and commercial sessions.
• To ensure food is stored appropriately and prepared ahead of practical classes and if necessary prepared to be re-sold.
• To support the management of the tills and the taking of all cash within the catering section and handling the accounting/banking process when necessary

Skills/Experience:

• Food handling experience
• Experience of cash handling
• Experience in restaurant or Café setting with skills in cookery.

Qualifications:

• Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English & Maths or equivalent
• Food Safety and Food Hygiene Qualifications
