Position Overview:


As the Homecare Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services to our clients while upholding the highest clinical standards.

Your responsibilities will include clinical oversight, staff training and development, quality assurance, collaboration with healthcare professionals and families, and contributing to our growth by leveraging your network and expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Excellence:


Utilize your advanced clinical expertise, including proficiency in complex care areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, feeding tubes (PEG, NJ, NG, Mickey), suctioning, epilepsy management, stoma care, and more.

Provide clinical leadership to our care team, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and guidelines.
Conduct client assessments and develop individualised care plans, monitoring and adjusting them as needed.
Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care services to our clients.

Staff Development and Competency:

Share your knowledge by training care staff in clinical areas, and oversee the competency development process.
Lead the orientation and training of new care staff, providing ongoing education and support.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback to our dedicated team.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to monitor and improve care delivery.
Perform audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Care Plans Competency:

Demonstrate expertise in creating and managing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual client needs.
Ensure that care plans are effectively implemented and regularly updated to reflect changing client requirements.

Paediatric and Adult Care Training:
Preferably, possess training and experience in both paediatric and adult care to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and other providers, to coordinate care for our clients.
Maintain open communication with clients' families, addressing their concerns and providing updates on care plans.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records, including care plans, assessments, and progress notes.
Prepare reports on clinical performance and outcomes as required.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RCN) or equivalent clinical licensure.
  • Proven experience in homecare or a similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Indepth knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in homecare.
  • Compassionate and clientcentered approach to care

£45.00-£50.00 per hour
