Ewp Recruitment are an agency providing staff cover to children's homes across the East Midlands.

Due to significant growth we are recruiting Residential Support workers to work in these children's homes on various shifts including Days/ Nights/ Weekends and Sleep - ins.


We are particularly recruiting for one home and staff would need to commit to either working full or part time.


As a Residential Youth Support worker, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do.

You will provide a stimulating environment, conducive to the educational, personal and social development of the children as outlined on their education, health and care plans (EHCP).


Day to day actives include:

  • Supporting our young people on amazing trips and activities (Even Disneyland Paris)
  • Acting as "corporate parents" providing a nurturing/caring/homely environment for our young people.
  • Encourage and promote independance


We look for people to join our staff team who have the creativity and enthusiasm needed to deliver the best outcomes for the children and young people.


Must have experience working with young people


We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and young people and we expect all staff to share this commitment.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.

You will be expected to engage in annual safeguarding training, be familiar with key policies and ensure you know the steps to take should be made aware of a safeguarding or child protection concern.

You will remain vigilant and act swiftly if you have concerns about a child and be an appropriate role model for both children and colleagues at all times.
