Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated graduate with a background in supporting students with additional behavioral needs to become part of the alternative provision team at a secondary academy located in south Manchester.

  • The Role:
  • Position: Teaching Assistant within the school's Alternative Provision
  • Working Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Responsibilities:
    • Supporting small groups of students with special needs such as SEMH, ASD, behavioral needs, and ADHD
    • Collaborating with the SEN support team and the SENCO
    • Assisting in delivering a diverse curriculum focusing on essential skills and ASDAN strategies
    • Supporting the senior leader overseeing behavior management
    • Teamwork with the child's support network

Requirements to Apply:

  • A minimum of six weeks' experience working with children in the past three years supported by reliable references
  • Completion of an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
  • Submission of a detailed CV reflecting 10 years of employment/education history, with any employment gaps explained
  • Valid right to work in the UK
