A new opportunity exists for a junior Private Client Solicitor to join this well-established national firm.

Joining a team of high experienced lawyers, you will be based in Birmingham and there is hybrid working on offer. The successful candidate will gain some valuable experience and be involved in high value cases. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing new enquiries
  • Drafting Deputyship applications
  • Drafting and dealing with routine correspondence
  • Liaising with family members, care homes, case managers and financial advisors
  • Drafting Wills
  • Inheritance tax and estate planning
  • Drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Setting up Trusts
  • Trust registration
  • Dealing with Probate and estate administration
  • Using an in-house case management system
  • Research using internal resources
  • Working to court and procedural deadlines
  • Maintaining awareness of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, the Mental Capacity Code of Practice and Court of Protection Rules

You will have experience in Private Client and / or Court of Protection work and applications are welcome from NQs upwards.
