The Role - Logistics Trainer

We are currently looking for an experienced Trainer to join our L&D team, to help drive the learning culture in our Logistics division, through excellence in training design, delivery and completion.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all new logistics colleagues complete a full induction programme, creating and maintaining all basic operational training for all roles in logistics, managing the delivery utilising the bespoke LMS 'Spring'.
• Ensuring that all operational 'learning leaders' are recruited and developed to agreed standards and processes.
• Managing relationships between L&D and Logistics stakeholders
• Delivering 'Train the Trainer' sessions to ensure any logistics colleagues involved in training delivery can execute sessions competently and effectively.
• Identifying and carrying out coaching opportunities, completing training evaluations to drive delivery standards
• Maintain accurate records and associated data, producing timely reports on colleague training as required.
• Using a blended learning approach and keeping up to date with the latest training advances and innovations
• Attend meetings as needed with line manager and logistics stakeholders
• Completing agreed training project work for wider business as part of the Bensons learning and development team.

Skills needed:

We are looking for an experienced Trainer with the following skills, experience and attributes to be successful in this role:

• Experience of delivering training to individuals and groups face to face (on site)
• Confident and effective communication skills, can engage and enthuse colleagues in your sessions to maximise learning
• Designing training tools to support operational delivery
• Experience of working with a central training / L&D team
• Able to develop excellent relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to use a number of Microsoft packages
• Full UK driving licence* and the ability to travel to sites in the UK to deliver on site sessions
