Refuse Loader

In

Industry:

Environmental

Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: 6.30am - 2/3pm (40 hours per week)

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: immediate start, initially for two week, may be extended for the right candidate

Duties:

Working as part of a small team, collecting domestic waste and recycling,
Walking miles per day, on specified routes, adherence to schedules,
Collecting and replacing residential bins,
Loading and operating machinery,
Assisting driver with banksman duties where required,
Adherence to health and safety.

Experience:

Must have good health and safety awareness, be physically fit due to the nature of duties and be happy to work outside in all weathers.
Must be punctual and reliable, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
Must have own transport due to location of depot.
Must be flexible with working hours as due to seasonal peaks overtime is occasionally required in order to complete duties.

Salary: £12.00 per hour worked (overtime paid at 1.33 over 40 hours per week)
