PURPOSE OF JOB With guidance from the CEO, to create and evolve the Society's marketing strategy and to communicate this effectively to colleagues.

To plan, implement and manage the Society's marketing activities. To develop the sales tactics required to achieve targets. Oversight of the Business Development and Marketing Teams. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales To devise and implement strategies, initiatives and campaigns to achieve sales targets. To coach, mentor and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised. To prepare relevant and timely reports as required by the Chief Executive by maintaining appropriate data. Marketing To implement the Society's marketing strategy. To devise marketing ideas and initiatives and assist with new product developments. To plan and manage marketing activities within budget. To monitor marketing results and produce appropriate KPl's. To ensure the website remains up to date, relevant and, in conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer, fully compliant. To plan, manage and oversee the delivery of advertising campaigns, including on-line.

Business Development To develop all channels of distribution per the marketing strategy in order to achieve the desired mix of business.

To develop effective sales aids and presentation for use in business development activities. To manage and appraise the Business Development Manager, Senior Marketing and Comms Specialist and Product Development and Training Specialist. Employment type Full-time
