Client Accountant

Every day presents a new challenge, requiring you to be a team player with excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail. Your main role will be to serve as the primary contact for private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients on a daily basis. You'll work within a supportive team, taking ownership of your tasks, managing them proactively, and addressing any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities- Manage designated Private Equity or Real Estate Clients on a daily basis
- Review quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
- Collaborate with your Manager and the Technical & Training Team to ensure compliance with Funds' reporting standards such as UK GAAP or IFRS
- Verify investor drawdown calculations for accuracy
- Review investor distribution calculations to ensure proper allocation of proceeds
- Communicate all cash movements between the Fund and Investors accurately
- Supervise Client deliverables' preparation process and monitor progress
- Conduct regular Client calls to maintain effective communication
- Mentor and support other staff on designated clients and funds
- Understand the accounting framework for each client and ensure compliance with the prescribed regulations

- Higher education level, IATI qualification, or equivalent
- ACCA/ ACA/CIMA qualified, or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in a professional office environment, preferably in financial services or accounting
- Experience in reviewing working paper files and Financial Statements
- Client relationship management and issue resolution experience
- Experience in supporting and mentoring team members
- Intermediate Excel skills
