Dellner Polymer & Glass Solutions operates from 5 different sites across the UK providing technologically advanced vibration control, rubber fabrication and bonding solutions for a global market.

Additionally, we design, engineer, manufacture, test and supply specialist glass and glazing products for the architectural, global rail, transport, security and museum showcase markets.


Main duties include:

  • Complete goods inwards quality control using appropriate techniques and equipment (such as micrometers, calipers and CMM)
  • Measure and record data for First Article Inspections
  • Maintain accurate records of receipts, and compile reports as required
  • Evaluate certification from suppliers
  • Work in conjunction with the Production Quality Engineer on tasks as required
  • Complete measurements against a plan for Product Auditing
  • Support Internal Audits where required
  • Membership and support various Improvement Teams and improvement activities
  • Assist QE and QM in the investigations of customer complaints and the satisfactory completion of 8D reports
  • Adhere to QHSE and other company policies and procedures
  • Support the needs of the business by undertaking any task as requested by management provided the task is within your capability and appropriate training is provided

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required

  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings (essential)
  • Able to use measuring techniques and equipment (essential)
  • CMM experience (highly desirable), Faro arm experience (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of basic problemsolving skills and tools (highly desirable)
  • Able to use Microsoft Office packages, including ACCESS (desirable)
  • Able to set work priorities in consultation with key internal 'customers' and work on own initiative to initially try to resolve roadblocks and issues (essential)
  • Working appreciation of ISO9001:2015 standard aims (essential)
  • This is a shop floorbased role, requiring the post holder to undertake manual handling, use hand tools, computers and work in a manufacturing environment
