We are looking for an experienced and organised Transport and Routing Planner to be responsible for the efficient running of our tour's operation.


This is an exciting time to join the UK's premier escorted travel company and there is huge potential for continued career development during a time of tremendous growth, both in our Operations department and across our business.


Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Ensuring planned routes are in line with working time directive (WTD) and drivers' hours and are maximised to full efficiency.
  • Producing optimal transport plans and approving transport routes across our network, ensuring that the customer is at the centre of what we do.
  • Assisting the operations team to ensure the department runs efficiently and effectively and supporting the wider department on projects, objectives, and achieving goals.
  • Liaising and developing mutually respectful professional relationships with our drivers they are the face of our business
  • Ensuring the department complies with health and safety legislation and ensuring that our coaches are running within legal limits.
  • Producing cost efficient operational transport plans daily.
  • Ensuring the department provides a quality first class service to the customer though careful planning.
  • Questioning the norm We are a dynamic and dedicated team, and we are building a team for the future, and welcome change.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of transport legislation.
  • Previous experience working in a planning environment.


 IT Literate
  • Excel and Word are essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Driven and selfmotivated.
  • Proactive problemsolving capability.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Able to work to deadlines and meet targets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team Player.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
