Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our well established client.
Job Duties:
- Performing laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data to support Quality Assurance and New Product Development.
- Carrying out routine tasks accurately and precisely.
- Preparing specimens and samples; assembling, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment.
- Ensuring the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced.
- Recording and interpreting results to present to senior colleagues.
- Using computers and performing simple mathematical calculations.
- Keeping up to date with technical developments.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Ensure that all assigned work is delivered in a timely manner.
- Communicate with both internal and external customers.
Requirements:
- Excellent team working skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Quality conscious and methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of working in a laboratory environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently manage own workload and work to deadlines.
Working hours: Days, Nights and Afters rotation.
Salary: 26, ,000 Per Annum.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
