We're looking for a Ganger to join our Regional Civils team based in Cornwall.
Location: Cornwall - Site Based
Contract: Permanent - full-time
What will you be responsible for?
As a Ganger, you'll be working within the CONTRACTNAME team, supporting them in leading a 2/3 man gang, carrying out a variety of civil engineering tasks including general groundworks, concreting, steel fixing, shuttering and general lifting operations.
Your day to day will include:
General Site duties and supervision associated with civil engineering groundworks, including completion of paperwork to a high standard in-line with the Client's requirementsResponsible for ensuring all Health and Safety standards and requirements are met at all times, including completing of all associated paperwork and to ensure work complies with relevant Safety, Health and Environmental legislation and recycling takes place wherever possibleCommunicating with the supervisor and other colleagues as required to update them on progress, timely communication when unexpected issues arise on siteAdopt all relevant areas of the self-certification process after trainingEnsure correct use of plant and materials and to minimise wastageWhat are we looking for?
