Our Veterinary Receptionists are focussed to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to pets, providing a link between clients and the clinical team.
The ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and all members of the practice team will be imperative to your success.
Having previous experience in client care or client-facing roles would be advantageous, or previous experience within the veterinary profession would also be useful.
The role of a Veterinary Receptionist is to provide a friendly, caring and supportive service throughout our client's journey with us.
You will need to be calm and attentive, working with your reception and practice team colleagues to support our clients' needs.
Our reception team are VIPs as the first port of call for our clients.You will focus on delivering gold standard client services and will be able to remain composed and calm in the event of a veterinary emergency or challenging circumstances.
A passion for excellent service and a desire to help people as well as a love of pets is required.
You will be working alongside our friendly and supportive team, bringing enthusiasm and positivity to your role and our team.
Day to day you will; answer the phone, greet clients, offer support and guidance, manage the appointment/diary system, making bookings and taking payments with accuracy and attention to detail.
There will be some administrative tasks that also require due diligence. You will need to be respectful, conscientious and have understanding of the need for discretion, confidentiality and GDPR. Computer literacy is essential for this role.The individual suited to this role will be dedicated to ensuring our front of house standards are maintained to the highest levels, to the inclusion of physical aspects and responsibility for front of house hygiene.
Full training will be given.
This is part-time role is initially for 14 hours per week, to cover Friday afternoons from pm (some flexibility with the Friday shift) and Saturdays 8.15am-4.15pm, we do envisage further hours being available to cover for holidays, with increasing hours possible as our team/practice requirements grow.
