Trainee Band Saw Operative

We are currently looking for a Trainee Band Saw Operative in the Redruth area.
If you have previous factory-based experience that is ideal, although not essential.
Working days of Monday - Friday,
This is a great role for someone looking to get into a new position with full on the job training - no previous experience needed
Job role responsibilities:
Trained in operating and running band saws to cut different products into specific cube sizes.
Loading materials onto the machine belts
Trained to complete daily checks on the machinery and making sure all are maintained correctly.
Some manual labour duties required.
Ensuring safety procedures are followed.
Have previous production-based experience and a keenness to learn a new role
Have keen eye and attention to detail.
Work well within a small team and be happy to help all across the production unit.

£11.00 per hour starting rate - uplifted to £13.00 once trained
