The applicant should be able to assist qualified staff in undertaking personal care duties for patients.

Able to provides results to patients and send notifications.

The role also encompasses clinical duties including direct patient care.

This involves assisting the Multi professional team in the delivery of a high standard of care to patients attending for Sexual, and reproductive health care.


Other aspects include housekeeping and administration duties which involve overseeing the maintenance of a safe environment for both patients and staff.

To report patient condition to qualified staff.


To seek clarification from trained staff whenever the post holder is uncertain about their responsibilities or duties at any time.

To respect patients individuality and maintain privacy and dignity

To assist the Registered Nurse/Health Advisers/Doctors in their main daily responsibilities.

To work flexibly within the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust

To assist in the recall of patients with sexually transmitted infections requiring treatment and or partner notification

To be part of the text service for patients sending negative results and results requiring action.

The role will involve direct patient care, clerical, reception and administration duties and overseeing of the maintenance of a safe environment for both clients and staff

The post holder works under the supervision of the Nursing team.

To supervise the ordering and stock levels of medical supplies.

The post holder must maintain the confidentiality of information about patients, staff and health
service businesses in accordance with Trust Policy and the General Data Protection Regulations.

Chaperone patients as necessary.


Undertake the recording blood pressure, pulse and pregnancy test results, and report findings to the nurse in charge of patient care.

Collecting and testing specimens as required and reporting abnormalities.
Ensure safekeeping of patient's property and valuables within Trust guidelines.
Work collaboratively with others in the clinic to ensure that patient's needs are meet.

Be aware of your competence and acknowledge your own boundaries asking for assistance as required.

Recognise and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations.
