Motability Operations is currently looking for a Vehicle Inspector to join their team in Coalville on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is detailed-oriented and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Inspect vehicles and accurately record details of any damage sustained
  • Determine repair methods and assess repair costs and timeframes
  • Communicate effectively with the Coalville team
  • Work within set deadlines and targets with strong organizational skills
  • Use specialized inspection software


To be successful in this role, candidates should have previous experience in a similar role, be able to work well in a team, adapt to changes, and pay attention to detail.

Minimum criteria:

  • Full UK Driving license
  • Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with vehicle inspections (desirable)
  • Knowledge of BVRLA fair wear and tear standards (desirable)
