Door Host

Do you have a passion for providing amazing Customer Service? Want to join our team on an exciting adventure opening a new restaurant and being that first face our customers see. We are looking for experienced Door Hosts, who are keen to be part of an exciting new and growing business called Bazaar. We are due to open in July and are looking for calm, confident, friendly door hosts.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional and friendly Door Host to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in the heart of the town.

You will be responsible for managing the door, greeting our customers, in polite, friendly manner, while also screening visitors to ensure company standards are met.

You will build rapport with the customers and the community, being a true people person, you will be responsible for maintaining the immediate outside area is kept clean, tidy and presentable, reporting any maintenance to the Restaurant Manager.

Working in a busy town center you will love working with people and have diplomacy and strength in equal measure.

You will be proud to represent The Bazaar Restaurant.

Responsibilities include:

• Being the face of Bazaar
• Provide a warm, confident and fun welcome/goodbye to our customers
• Manage the front door, screening customers where needed
• Ensure the immediate area outside the restaurant is kept clean, tidy and welcoming
• Support loss prevention within the restaurant

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Host/Host or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
• First aid certification is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Take pride in appearance
• SIA license preferable but not essential
