Reporting Responsibilities

Reports to:
Warehouse Manager

The Role:
The role of warehouse assistant is a physical role and the tasks involved can be varied.

This role is 8am-5pm Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

There will be some occasional night shifts.

Salary is £26,000 pro rata (£20,800)

Duties:

  • Loading and unloading vans from events
  • Washing up and storing crockery, cutlery, glassware and styling
  • Receiving and checking orders and collections from Linen and Equipment suppliers
  • Washing and cleaning the vans and filling with petrol
  • Shopping specifically for the warehouse
  • Managing on site orders: gas, waste, food waste, recycling
  • Preparation and verification of packing lists
  • Laundry and upkeep of uniforms
  • Manage storage in warehouse
  • Washing kitchen cloths
  • Upkeep of kit boxes
  • Cleaning and maintaining office and guest spaces
  • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse
  • Running items to events when they are missing
  • Site maintenance where skills allow

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be over 25 for van insurance purposes
  • Must hold a full valid drivers license
  • Vehicle for commuting due to remote location
We are an event catering company and offer a delicious free lunch on weekdays.

Salary:
Up to £26,000.00 per year
