Responsibilities:
- Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment.
- Completing test reports and documentation as per customer requirements and Quality Management System standards.
- Upgrading and modifying assemblies and finished products.
- Implementing changes to assemblies and finished products based on documentation.
- Identifying product quality and performance issues and reporting non-conformances.
- Collaborating with Design Engineering, Test Equipment Design, and Sales to meet customer requirements and ensure product quality and performance.
- Supporting the Company's ISO14001 Environmental Management System and ISO9001 Quality Management System, and contributing to improvement initiatives, including proposing 'green' opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with the Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems.
Requirements:
- Ability to test products following procedures accurately and within standard timeframes.
- Proficiency in using test equipment like oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies, and multimeters.
- Hands-on experience with soldering and rework techniques to IPC standards.
- Previous work in a lean manufacturing environment. Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in diagnosing faults and performing repairs to component level. HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is a plus.
- Familiarity with high voltage testing methods is advantageous.
