Qualifications

  • Previous secretarial/administrative experience in a school environment would be helpful but not essential.
  • Secretarial and Microsoft Office skills required.
- iSams experience or other CRM experience an advantage.

Specific responsibilities

  • Keep track of all enquiries, ensuring all our followed up.
  • Take full ownership of all aspects of admissions process from start to finish, ensuring best practice by maintaining accurate and uptodate records of all enquiries in Admissions Manager on iSAMS.
  • Ensure the smoothrunning of all school tours, being available to take over at any stage should the Head not be available.
  • Assume overall responsibility for entrance to Amesbury; liaise with internal staff as required and ensure all aspects of the days are managed smoothly.
  • Be an iSAMS administrator for the Admissions Module ensuring that Admissions continually explores and exploits its full functionality to support an effective and time efficient admissions process.
  • Promptly produce and distribute for review/signing/posting accurate offer letters.
  • Monitor acceptances and discretely follow up with parents as required arrange further meetings with Head and as well as tours if required.
  • In conjunction with Heads of School, ensure appropriate notification of and welcome to new students, in particular those who are joining during the year.
  • Ensure all admissions records are maintained in compliance with GDPR
  • Support and advise prospective parents of those children who may have individual needs.
  • Work with Head of Marketing and Admissions to engage current parents and maximise retention at key transition stages e.g. Nursery to Reception, Year 3 and Year 7/
  • In conjunction with Marketing and Admissions team, oversee all aspects of Open Day organisation including follow up with parents afterwards.
  • Support additional external events such as open days or other school events where necessary.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing and Admissions to identify and develop relations with feeder schools and where appropriate, encourage links between feeder schools and key members of the Amesbury community.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing and Admissions to produce the Parental Handbook.
  • Maintain relationships with international agents, responding to queries promptly and proactively sharing relevant information with them.
  • Regularly collate, analyse and present admissions reports and dashboard as agreed with the Head of Marketing & Admissions and Head.
  • In conjunction with Head of Marketing & Admissions analyse admissions reports and data to inform internal stakeholder of any shortterm challenges or concerns.
  • Keep in touch with admission trends, developments and issues through professional development opportunities and networking with other Registrars.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school including but not limited participating in whole school events.
  • Attend staff training and INSET Days as per the staff calendar.

This role reports to the Head of Marketing and Admissions.
