In this role, reporting to the Technology Change Director, you will play a vital part in bridging business objectives with technology implementation by applying strong Business Analysis practices. Your responsibilities will include analyzing Aztec's business processes and systems, evaluating the business model and its alignment with technology, and identifying enhancement opportunities.
The ideal candidate will excel in structured industry methodologies, adept at capturing requirements, processes, and business needs. Your analytical skills will be key in helping stakeholders comprehend intricate solutions.
Moreover, you will be expected to support the business as needed with ad-hoc activities tied to technology and broader transformation initiatives.
Based in the UK or CI offices, remote work is common with occasional travel to other locations, and potentially further afield as we progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain an in-depth understanding of products and services to translate complex requirements for business and Aztec group
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Development Team lead to analyze areas necessary for upcoming roadmap items
- Ensure technical solutions' evaluation considers integration with other systems as a primary focus, aligning with the IT Strategy
- Identify business objectives and processes to suggest technical solutions for operational enhancement
- Analyze user stories and technical application functionalities
- Work as a liaison between IT and Business to meet both entities' needs
- Write user stories, business process flow charts, coordinate user acceptance testing, and ensure product quality
- Effectively communicate ideas to various audiences in diverse settings
- Bridge IT and Business realms to serve their respective needs
Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience as a Technically focused Business Analyst
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, gap analysis, customer engagement, and process definition
- Demonstrable knowledge of AGILE methodologies and Azure DevOps
- Background in managing and delivering successful change
- Strong analytical and logical decision-making skills
- Drive, enthusiasm, and passion for success
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and provide alternative solutions
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Resilient with the ability to handle demands and tight deadlines
- Comfortable operating across multiple jurisdictions and engaging with various stakeholders

Advantageous Skills:
- Experience in Financial Services or fund management
