Job Summary
As a Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of our data team, contributing to the analysis and interpretation of data to inform business decisions. With a focus on data-centric architecture, data catalog management, and master data management, you will play a key role in maintaining data integrity and delivering actionable insights through reporting and data visualisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support for business decision-making.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data-centric architecture, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
- Manage and maintain data catalogs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date metadata for various datasets within the organisation.
- Implement master data management practices to ensure consistency and accuracy of critical business data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and create reports and dashboards that convey meaningful insights.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, presenting findings in a clear and understandable manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data analysis processes, ensuring knowledge sharing and reproducibility
Job requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Experience in data catalog management, maintaining metadata, and ensuring data traceability.
- Knowledge of master data management practices to maintain consistency across the organisation.
- Proficient in reporting tools and data visualisation techniques (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
Required:
- Proven experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Proficiency in data-centric architecture.
- Strong skills in data catalog management and master data management.
- Experience in reporting and data visualisation tools.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, R) for data analysis.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts for predictive analytics.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and emerging tools.
